Fresh Pond Golf Course

Fresh Pond is one of those rare Donald Ross designs that is open to the public, albeit in a 9-hole format. Water is in play on four holes.

The non-resident 18-hole walking rates are $30 weekdays and $33 weekends.

Very pretty course with some nice holes that play true to the yardage. The par fives are short but require two darn good shots to reach em. The fourth hole is a nice dogleg left that plays like a long par 4. Overall a very pretty course that has taken a lot of hits online for apparently some extremely rude service. It's worth the money and is well located. It's probably the best nine hole course you can expect that's 3000 yards.

Pleasant, well-routed. Defends par well except against length. Worth playing more than twice.
