Brookview Golf Course

This parkland-style course opened as a private club in 1937, was purchased by the City of Golden Valley in 1969, and has been open to the public ever since. In fact, the city operates the course as a revenue enterprise; no tax money goes to support the operation.

Bassett Creek flows through six holes on the main course, while other water is in play on eleven others.

The walking rates here are $35/18 holes and $19/9 holes on the regulation course, while the par-3 course rate is $12.50.

The par 3 course has many short holes that are mostly straight forward. Beware of playing after heavy rains as the 5-7 holes are nearest to the water and have shallow banks. Water will flood fairways now and then. Good hospitality and upkeep. Driving range is irons and hybrids only. Prices are fair for what you get with this course.

Be carefull with bunkers or you will be hitting not sand, but "mud" shots. Otherwise course in the great shape.
