The Paiute resort lies at the base of the Spring Mountains, with three excellent Pete Dye courses. "Snow Mountain" is the original 18 here and includes some of the Dye-trademark bunkers decorated with railroad ties. "Sun Mountain" was the second 18 to open and is described as a 'kinder, gentler Dye design.' "Wolf" is the newest 18, and is advertised by the club as being the longest course in Nevada, at 7,604 yards from the tips.

I played Wolf and thought it was amazing. Possibly the best conditioned course I have ever played. The views are incredible; I wanted to take a picture on every tee box. If sun and snow are on par with this course, it has to be one of the finest 54 hole facilities in America. The twighlight fee was very reasonable and downright cheap for what you normally pay in Vegas. I thought the coure was very straightforward. The hazards were all in view from the tee or at least you could see them on the in cart GPS. The only "gimmicky" hole that I found was the Island Green 15th, but it was fun nonetheless. The crew was extremely courteous and helpful. I would reccomend Paiute Wolf to anyone. My new favorite course in Vegas!

Played Snow after several weeks of wetter than normal weather. Heard greens were hard during summer and expected better. No such luck. Greens are so hard that there were no ball marks and they were very hard to hold even on short chip shots. Rest of course conditions made up for the greens. Nice place. Used PACC card for the first time. Great break on the normal price.

Stay with Sun. Wolf is gimmicky, with exaggerated undulations on the greens and waste areas where otherwise good tee shots would be.
