53 Dublin Rd Jaffrey, NH 03452-0540 www.shattuckgolfclub.com 603 532 4300 The Shattuck, carved from the granite foothills of Mt. Monadnock, is one of the most visually stunning golf courses you'll ever play. Each hole is framed by forests of oak, birch and pine, shielding it from the view of other holes so you never feel crowded. This is a course that lives in harmony with its surroundings, spanning acres of natural wetlands that serve not only as hazards to the golfer, but home to a wide variety of wildlife including mink, fox, deer, moose, beaver, otter and the great blue heron. The golf holes themselves stand in striking contrast to the woods and wetlands, with lush bent grass on every tee, fairway and green. What a joy it is to be able to spin a ball off a thick carpet of bent grass, watch it sail through the mountain air and bite into a firm but yielding green. Course Details
Average Hole Difficulty
If you don't hit it in the fairway don't bother looking for the ball. Any rough or OOB is lost. The growth around the course makes this place perfect for guys who are serious golfers but a nightmare for those who play for fun/enjoyment. Your Review
