Bey Lea Golf Course

This course is owned and operated by the Township of Toms River, and opened in 1969 with a design by Hal Purdy. The course features water hazards (lakes and streams) on multiple holes, wide fairways, and both sand- and grass-faced bunkers.

The standard non-resident walking rates are $36 weekdays and $40 weekends (carts are $16/person). Discounts are available for twilight play, seniors, and for residents / certified taxpayers of Toms River Township.

Tee times are only reserved for weekends and holidays; the new tee-time telephone number is 732.736.8889.

I think I saw a cow. No starter to speak of. We had a 3:15 time. If we didn't speak up they would have let the golf team go out first. Clubhouse attendant was rude. It was like a meal in a bad resturant.
