Weequahic Park Golf Course

Public Course in City of Newark NJ located inside Weequahic Park ---Entrances on Meeker Avenue, Elizabeth Ave or Dayton St. (as for now entrance on Grumman St is closed due to construction on a bridge in park is in progress JUNE 2009)

Short course with some elevation changes some fairways are narrow. Back nine has out of bound stakes that should be honored. Rounds can be quick during week a little slower on weekends.

******Some course improvements are being made in 2009: new drainage,and sprinkler system, new teebox renovations as well.

The course is short, but a good challenge for any golfer. Low scores are always within reach, but so are blow up holes with out of bounds issues.
