New Mexico State University Golf Course

This course is open to the public and has hosted three NCAA National Championships, as well as a long string of conference and USGA qualifying events. An impressive clubhouse opened in October of 2004, but changes and improvements to the course are fairly constant here.

The walking rates are $25 weekdays and $32 weekends; NMSU students, staff, and faculty enjoy discounts on these rates.

Great golf course. Pace of play usually the only problem here. Today was a public shotgun at 7:30 to get everyone off for a tournament. Actually not bad, but sometimes hear some horror stories about how long it takes to play. Traditional parkland golf course mixed with southwest desert flavor. Good mix of holes. Fun for the mid handicapper and challenging for the scratch golfer.
