Clearview Park Golf Course

Located at the foot of the Throgs Neck Bridge in Queens, Clearview Golf Course is popular among golfers in NYC and was recently renovated. Newly-constructed tees accommodate a wide range of golfers, while a new 8,000 square-foot putting green is now available.

Played on Fathers Day 6/19/2011. Course was in good shape. The greens were actually clear. I remember playing here years ago and some of the greens were covered in acorns, branches, etc...

As this is a muni course, expect a 6 hour round on weekends. Pace of play is slow, hard to imagine considering the fairways are wide, open and flat.

Even had an instance were some guys with their push carts were racing across our fairway to get to any empty hole so they could tee up and play along.
