oobgolf.com uses over half a million scores to determine which irons perform the best in the hands of amateur golfers on real courses.

Irons are ranked based on the number of users, the average user rating, and performance in recorded scores. Performance is currently based on the % times green is reached in regulation (GIR) and improved GIR %. GIR % improvement is the average change to GIR % that a user sees after they switch to those irons. The numbers in () is the equipment's rank based on that perticular column.
