I tried a buddy's R9 driver on the range the other day and was hitting it so pure that I got a used one on eBay for $149 (exc cond). Can't wait to try it out, but I may go crazy with all the variables you can adjust (loft, lie, weights, etc.).

Here's hoping it will work as well on the course as the range!

Ugghh. I can't hit it worth a lick. Went back to my old driver this weekend and hit it very well. Oh well. Guess I'll put the R9 up on eBay...

I recently bought an r9 supertri. when I hit it well (not very often!), the ball flys! I am still getting used to it, you should give it a week or 2 before dumping it.

I too recently got a R9 Supertri very cheap. When I hit it well the ball rocketed a good 10-20 yds father than my current Nike Dymo2. However, I had very little control and the ditance was slightly sporadic.

I did a little research and found out that the stock shaft is a bit rubbish, so I took it to a club maker/fitter and he's re-shafted it for me with a better shaft more suited to me. I'm picking it up tomorrow so look forward to the results
