See thread "where's my handicap?" in the Open forum for more details but, in summary, retrospectively entering the SSS rating for a round recorded on Oobgolf isn't being saved, therefore a handicap isn't getting calculated.

I manually entered a new round last night, entering the SSS figure almost before anything else (on page two of the wizard) and that was saved and now my handicap is being displayed.

So, it works for new rounds, but not for edited existing rounds.

Since nothing seems to have happened about this I thought I'd re-enter my scores manually (argh!) and include the SSS/CSS figure.

However, I found that the figure still isn't being kept on the two rounds I entered manually.

Starting to find this quite frustrating.

Best solution, of course, would be for the CSS/SSS number to be included in course details so new rounds would upload from the Oobgolf app complete with this figure, but even being able to manually add the CSS/SSS would do if only the damn data would stick!

SSS is saved for each course and populated as scores are uploaded or edited. Only addict subscribers can edit the SSS tied to a course.

When you enter or edit a score manually it will save the CSS/SSS you enter and should display your handicap. However if you click edit it will clear that if the SSS tied to the course is not set. What course are you looking to have the SSS set on?

That's OK (I did know that), I'm not trying to edit the existing value. :)

Well, that WAS the behaviour I was seeing when I manually entered a couple of rounds from a few weeks ago, hence I tried re-entering previous rounds but this time including the CSS/SSS. However, now that value isn't sticking any more.

Lullingstone 9-hole Valley course, Beckenham Place Park (CSS 68) and Bromley Golf Course.

I have the other two CSS figures at work, will post them tomorrow when I get in.

I updated the course data for Beckenham and Lullingstone. Another thing that you are encountering is that CONGU requires full 18 hole scores to establish your initial handicap. After the initial handicap is established 9 hole scores can be used to adjust it. Since you only have 1 18 hole score you won't see any handicap applied to the score prior to that one.
