I have been hitting the 07 burner for a month now (coach's), and finally got the opportunity to buy a new driver for myself. I can crush the ball with the 07 burner, so that makes me want to get the 09 burner. However, the superfast says it increases speed, so the ball will go further. If I can already hit far, should I get the superfast? Is it for big hitters, or slower swings? I am going to go to Golf USA in a couple days to get everything checked out (swing speed, etc)

Has anyone hit these? Opinions??

Over the winter, I have had an opportunity to hit many of the new clubs at my local practice facility.
Burner Superfast was one of them. Trackman was used for feedback. The shaft on the Superfast is 1" longer than standard. I found that although the Superfast increased my ballspeed for 130 to 133.5, the smash factor went down from 1.48 on my driver to 1.43 on the Superfast. So, as a result carry, vertical launch and spin were a wash. My sugestion is to make sure you have solid numbers on your current driver so you can make an honest comparison to any new driver you try.

It looks like they are the same club. The superfast has a more edgy look, but the burner isn't bad either and is cheaper most places.

This is a good question, does anybody know of the changes made with the superfast? I would not buy in to the "faster club design." Did they actually give it a longer shaft than the Burner, or does the Burner have a long shaft also?

I hit the superfast and TP superfast yesterday. The superfast has a 46.5 inch and TP has 46 inch shaft. The shafts were extremely light, not sure of exact grams. Did not hit either of them well, but that was because of my swing and not the clubs. I don't buy into the longer shafts give more distance as you will lose accruacy if that length is not right for you. Most people need to hit 44-45 inch shafts to hit it on the sweet spot more often and have the best swing speed.
