Sorry, but the only golfer I can be bothered with nowadays is me. And *maybe* my friend Mike (on a good day). I may be a hacker but I have some shots in the bag, never quit on a hole and occasionally, I pull off some terrific golf. I can't wait to see what I will do next. so yay for me. Don't need to watch a bunch of pampered uptight professionals play fairways and greens when I'd rather watch myself try to escape from trouble and scrounge for pars. I am at a crossroads. I love this game dearly but am finding myself more and more disillusioned by the "golf community".

Screw Tiger Woods. I like him and all but I cannot stand to read any more about him and his "downfall due to marital infidelities" (which of course is required mentioning in every news story about Tiger's tournament results, swing change, learning foundation, etc. OK WE GET IT MEDIA BIAS). Tired of the same old canned back-and-forth between Tiger and the media. Tiger, its time to come right out and say what's on your mind ie "OK GUYS IM SUCKING RIGHT NOW, IT HAPPENS AND IM TRYING TO SORT IT OUT IN THE MEANTIME GO FUCK YOUSELVES". And golf writers/reporters: let's fess up re: Tiger and say "Tiger we love you and your game but we resent you because you don't treat us like buddies" IE let's ALL drop this whole fuckin charade.

Screw Phil Mickelson. Sometimes he looks like the greatest golfer on the planet, the next week he is wandering around the golf course, over par and with that dazed faraway look in his eyes. Dude has had umpteen chances this year to take over the #1 spot and failed miserable every single time. OK Philly Boy we get it-- you can pound the ball 400+ yards, but here's a little bit of wisdom I heard the other day "DRIVE FOR SHOW PUTT FOR DOUGH". silly cow.

Screw Lee Westwood and his Nascar signage and his blase, journeyman approach to everything. Sorry, being the top journeyman of your generation might be great for you and your kin but does nothing for anyone else with a pulse. Screw the golf media who manages to fill up countless columns with ignorant, pointless drivel that is only tangentially related to the actual game we all love. Screw the golf channel who is doing their best to pander and bring golf down to the level of dummies.

Screw the clueless loser hackers that foul up countless local golf courses with their repugnant personalities, near-total lack of golf ability, and ignorance or outright flouting of rules, etiquette and pace of play. Screw the golf club manufacturers who feel the need to lie, deceive and resort to sensationalism and snake-oil salesmanship. How about just make a good product and live or die by its quality? Screw the golf consumer for feeding into this ridiculous cycle as well.

Basically screw you all. I know this is selfish thinking and not considerate of the common good and the golf business as a whole, but there are so many people involved with golf, at all levels, top to bottom that can just suck it right now far as I'm concerned.

I'M AS MAD AS HELL, AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE! Get up right now, go to your windows, open them and stick your head out and yell, "I'm as mad as hell and I'm not going to take this anymore!" Things have got to change. But first, you've gotta get mad!... You've got to say, "I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore!" Then we'll figure out what to do about the "groove rule", Lee Westwood, Tiger Woods, slow play and unrepaired ball marks. But first get up out of your chairs, open the window, stick your head out, and yell, and say it:
"I'M AS MAD AS HELL, AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE!"

Also screw everyone and their twitter accounts. All of a sudden everyone is thinking they are a personality. Let's face it pro golfers are some of the last people who should be airing out their private thoughts and attempts at humor.

Screw the LPGA and all their constant chattering about what "moves the needle" and whining about nobody watching ladies' golf. Sorry but has anyone EVER watched it? It's a niche sport, when is everyone going to stop bitching about it and accept that its a niche spectator sport. Last I checked you are still giving out six-figure prizes. Not bad for a sport hardly anyone watches. Why does every discussion of anything LPGA end up with "What the LPGA needs is..." Give it a rest. You don't hear Bass Fishing complaining all the time that nobody watches bass fishing because a certain race of people wins too many events, or because a certain young over-rated and over-hyped phenom hasn't taken her rightful place at the top of the bass fishing game because she's too busy getting her vanity college degree.

Whoa, I wrote that? What a tortured psycho. I must've written that stuff after suffering through yet another six hour round.

Things are better now. I still think everyone sucks but now that the weather's turned cold and I can play golf without bumping into too many clueless fucksticks, I am feeling much better about the game.

My swing is feeling good and my short game confidence is riding high. Over the last couple rounds I have hit some fantastic shots as well as scrambling par saves. I can't wait for my next round. So come to think of it I really don't have any time for any other golfers. Screw you.

Something about the username hints that this might not be the first rant. I agree with all your points though, just like Tim Wilson's song "I could be wrong"

I'm not really angry, just very irritable.
