I'm curious. Since I've been shopping new irons, the question about what to do with my old set has popped into my head.

When you get a new club/set to replace an old one, what do you do with the old? Do you keep it in the garage/basement, just in case? Trade them in? Sell them? Experiment with them?

I usually keep my most recent old set as a back up (or an extra set in case someone wants to try to play that does not have a set), and donate the previous old set to some place to try to get them in the hands of young golfers.
