Truth be told - don't like their performance. I hit my Vokey wedges MUCH better. Could be (and most likely is) just me, however I am not getting paid to play a certain club and I need to use what performs best for me. Right now it is Vokey wedges.

@mjaber - it seems like every right handed player that tells me I play from the wrong side NEVER takes any bets with me! Hmmmmm - LOL

I don't takes bets with people, regardless of which side they the stand on when they hit... unless it's that my shot over the water is going to get wet. Smile

Bducharm: I agree. Love my Vokeys as well. Nothing against Eidolen. From what I have heard, they are great wedges. But, in my opinion, play whatever gives you the most confidence when you stand over the ball. I just won a new Cleveland 58* wedge, specified to my preferences (don't remember the model, but top of the line blade type, with double bounce angles similar to the Eidolen concept). I hit it nicely, but have much more confidence in my Vokeys. Being a Cleveland (the king of wedges for so many years), I'm sure it too is a great wedge, but just not for me right now.

I checked the Cleveland wedge I was referring to in the last post. It's a CG15 DSG OIL QUENCH. Cleveland's description is:

The address shape and Laser Milled face technology are shared with the CG15, but the CG15 DSG incorporates a Dynamic Sole Grind on the back portion of the sole. The material reduction on the back of the sole allows players to open up the face with a lower leading edge to allow for better contact on open faced shots.

If anyone's interested, it is nearly new. Hit it on the range a few times to try it out. Never played it. Stickers still on shaft. As I mentioned in my earlier post, I won this in October at a golf tourney. I was able to request whatever loft I wanted. I chose 58* because I figured with the "material reduction on the back of the sole" it would play more easily in heavier sand than my laid open 56* or 60* Vokeys. As it turns out, I never even compared the two. I like my Vokey Spin-Milled wedges. As they say, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!" So, I'm just gonna sell the Cleveland on Ebay unless there is someone here with any interest. I will sell it for $95 and ship it for $5. Private message me if interested here at Oob.
