I'm new to golf.

Played at a range over time with my Dad and Brother.
Just last year I finally got on a course.
My brother and I are both new addicts, playing as much as we can.

Looking for some fellow players in our area, or just friendly addicts in general

I guess thats the beauty of California, and Bakersfield even, its desert, not too many days you can't play golf, unless you worry about 110 degree days lol.

I'm a fresh addict, so eat breath and sleep golf right now. Nice to have an individual sport, all the ones I have always played in the past relied on someone. I have fun if its just me, but always looking for new people for the social aspect.

Well, you've found the right place for the social aspect. I'm a seasoned addict. Been playing a long long time, and i still can't get enough of it. If only i had thought about becoming a "golf professional" rather than "a professional golfer" when i was younger, i could have done both by now. LOL.
