Ok. I snuck out after work, thanks to my loving wife.
I shot another solid 98. Thats my 3rd time under 100 in the last 3 times at my home course
I missed a 1 footer on 17, so it wasn't a great round. 2 quad bogeys as well, and a triple, so I have plenty of room for improvement but a solid round.
Club Champs at my home course is in 2 weeks, I feel confident that if I have a good round I might break 95 or maybe 90 and if i do, it will be a awesome way to start my Tournament life.

My short term goal is now to play the 4 other courses in my areas and break 100 at each of them.
So far my low scores on those are

Riverlakes 101
Sycamore 104
Buena Vista 101
Kern River 119 (only played one game there, eek).

Game on Smile

Well, I shot at Riverlakes today.
I shot some good holes, some good shots, and a lot of lost balls and shocking shots.

116, but a 108 ESC since i had 4 holes of 4+ or more.
I love it when you have 4 holes account for half of your + score.
I hit the hybrids well though.

I'm up for the challenge though. I will be back.
Just booked my tee time for Sunday. 630, going to beat my 119 at Kern River.

Wish me luck.

got in a partial second nine hole round on my home practice course last night. Five holes...four pars and a cinco. lol.

Short par 3...first stroke went into the bunker. Second stroke went all the way over the green to the other bunker. Horrible lie, I just tried to pop it to a place where I could chip to. I didn't make it out of the bunker. Third bunker shot was even worse, but at least I made it out. Then I glanced the ball with one of my practice swings for a penalty stroke. Chip shot was a beaut from a horribly downhill position. I put it about four feet past the cub, and then couldn't sinke the quad putt coming back up.

Isn't golf great?

I shot 92 on 16 hole (trying to beat the sun down) last night at river lakes.

I still lost 8 balls but instead of 116 like Thursday, I shot a 105 (using handicap to finish the round).

Still not quite under 100, but if I could find the fairway, it would be a great round.
Met 2 cool people on the course, had dinner afterwards, I think I made a couple of new friends, and a couple of new golfing pals.

Good day.
3 days in a row, soccer today, and golf again tomorrow Smile

Finally played a course that was not soggy today and also was hitting the ball better. 79 (par 71) and I am content. Wink

I shot 82 on a par 71. OK the score doesn't exactly reflect it, but I had moments of awesomeness. Sure I had trouble aiming, couldnt grip the putter quite right all day, and straight up topped a three-iron from the fairway, but so what. I also flighted some really good irons, pounded several drives in the ass, high and low and made a par save so good Mickelson himself wouldve wept a little. I learned a thing or two. All in all it was a lot of fun, and I am already jonesing to play again.

Woke up this morning to one of our famous Fargo May blizzards. No golf for me today. Hopefully, it will all melt by tomorrow so the weekend isn't a total loss.

I got to play again.
4 games in 5 days, loving it. I almost played 2 games today, but I had to decline the invitation.

Well, my brother and I were playing a friendly match again one of his friends + 1.
They have handicaps of 12 and 13
My brother and I have 30 and 26

I started with my 2nd ever birdie, pressure is on, and I shot birdie on the first par 5. First time ever under par, for any point of a game, but I overhit the 2nd hole par 3 and hit the water shed LOL.

I start 6 over for 6 holes.
Only 2nd time playing this course, my approach on the 7th ended up way off target. I lined up the wrong green, DUH. Perfect length, straight as an arrow, wrong damn green.

So 8 over after 7, feeling great. I then took a huge divot with the driver. 20 yard muff. Then swing and a miss. Then another muff. 3 trees later I find theroad. If I two putt I can make 12, but no, 13. Still shot 101, considering the first time I shot 119, I'll take it.

101 with a 13 is pretty good for me. Had to post 96 for my handicap though lol.
My brother his 3 bogeys, 11 doulbes, really consistent for 107
The others shot 88 and 92, so total, with Handicap we beat them, if only by 3 strokes.

This weekend I played 18 both Sat and Sunday at Indian River GC, which is known for having unusually undulating greens. They are large, but have lots of uphill, downhill, huge breaking putts. Also much of the course is punishing if off the fairway- hazard lined, OB/houses, deep woods. A few holes have a creek crossing the fairway right in the landing zone forcing a risk/reward or laying up off the tee.

I shot 92/93 - could have been worse with my putting and short game being pretty poor.

Still kind of dissapointing however as coming off last weekend I had my lowest 18 hole score, 81, which was during tournament play as well which made it extra sweet. That 81 was the first time I felt like I was playing the game properly, and somehow was putting smooth which made it special. My prior tournament rounds this year were 102, 103, and 103... crazy game.

Ughh 80 today. Even par first 11 holes. Just lost the swing for the rest of the round. Couldn't do a darn thing. My Fiancée says it was because of the guys we paired up with on 12, but i don't think that was it.
