Hi guys,

I have only ever played golf on a local par 3 9 holer course. This unfortunatly shut down due to the current climate. A work colleague has asked me to play on a local course with him but I am a bit worried as I am not use to a full course. Should I go with him and learn or should I not? I am so eager to play a proper course but worry about making a fool of myself?? Any advice would be fantastic

just play it like you would a par 3 course for a while (you'll probably score good). Just slowly work yourself in the par 72 groove.

If you don't want to use a driver or fwy wood, just use your 6 or 7 iron. Two shots with either of those should equate to a good drive. You shouldn't hold up play doing that. Hit away and have fun!!
