Can't complain about the weather here in the NYC area right now as it's pretty damn seasonable if you can believe that. (I probably just jinxed it though) I can complain though about the slow play that is plaguing us around here. WTF, maybe it's all the leaves on the ground gobbling up peoples golf balls. Whatever the case I can't wait til the cold weather drives all these casual jerkoffs back indoors and leaves the course to the hardcore golfers. Also the man telling us we have to set our clocks back an hour doesn't help. If anything why don't we set them forward another hour? That way the sun won't set until around 7, and who could have a problem with that???

I played yesterday. High of 60, but wind gusts over 30 mph. Even when we were in the fairway it we had to look for our ball. The leaves were blowing all day.

I was worried you were depressed or had given up on golf. It is rare to go a week and not see a post from you. Good to see you are still active. Get out and play this weekend. Wink

Would have been a great weekend for it...if the wind hadn't been whipping around at 40+ mph. Cold, cold north wind, too.

I hope to play this weekend. Got a tee time for Friday and one for Saturday.

Our season in SE Michigan pretty much wrapped up Thanksgiving weekend. Since that time it has routinely dipped below freezing at night and there has been a light snow covering on the ground. Barring a sudden warming trend, that is it until mid-March. I hope to make at least one trip south (FL) in February. Right now living in hurricane country sounds pretty good. Wink

It's not awful here. I think we're supposed to have a mild winter, so i may actually get out during the off season. It's been raining though... and that sucks a lot.

It's cold. It's windy. I think all of the courses are closed for the season. At least the sun is out.

Five inches of snow last weekend and another inch tonight. I think we are done here until the spring.

Days in the low to mid 50s and nights in the 30s or high 20s right now. I don't mind golf in the 50s, but the problem is with all of the Christmas prep and such, there's no time for golf!
