Playing today, winter greens, so the cup is bigger than standard. I had a 6 foot putt the ball went into hole hit the bottom of cup and bounced back out a and sat on lip. What is the ruling on this ?

That is a tough break. Unfortunately, a ball is not considered "holed" until it is at rest within the hole. Think about people that hit a shot from the fairway directly into the hole only to have it bounce out, same situation but just further away. You tap in for one additional stroke.

There is no ruling since the cup does not meet R&A / USGA requirements Laughing .

For an actually usable answer, see bkuehn1952's posting.
