I was thinking that you were such a big fan of M&M's that you named one Steve.

that made me chuckle. My username is an obvious golf-related twist on the name of my first favorite TV show as a little kid.

Initial of my first name (Matthew), middle initial, last name and year I was born. I've been using it as a user name for 15+ years. The avatar is the license plate on my truck.

Also meant to point out that the doofus my avatar is not me, it's a fictional character from "the Onion" called Jim Anchower. It's just a picture that has always made me laugh.

The doofus in my avatar isn't me, either. If you look closely, you can see a twosome approaching the green in the distance. They were taking so damn long, I had time to sit and take pictures of the trees.

Since we're suddenly talking about avatars, mine is a duck that was swimming in Lake Michigan when my then-girlfriend-now-wife and I went to the Field Museum in Chicago.

Used the nickname "Hollywood" in grade school after TopGun came out and I always loved that pilots callsign.
Later in life I ran a wrestling website for about 6 years and was using the name when Hogan became "Hollywood" Hogan, so it was a good fit then too!
Name has always stuck since then.

Obviously the timb is my real name

And I'd assumed that was you post-round outside a golf clubhouse.
