There are two 18-hole courses practically within visual range, but I'm not playing while we're here. I didn't even bring my clubs. What the hell is wrong with me? Some weird crap about spending the time with the family. I don't know what happened...

Know what you mean... I went to Ireland in 2010 for vacation. No golf. Castle tours. Dammit, what was I thinking!?

Truthfully though, going out solo would have probably been not that great, would have felt funny about it. I hope to one day get some organized golf buddy trip type thing set up.

Have a nice vacation - golf will be waiting...

There had to be some jedi mind tricks involved here, otherwise I'd have my clubs and a tee time for the morning.

Oh well. At least I've had a few beers. Everyone is asleep, so I can do whatever I want, so long a it's quiet.
