Dont know if this is the correct forum, might need to be in equipment, but here goes.

Got new irons today traded in Taylor Made RAC TP MB's for Titleist AP2 712's and a couple of wedges. Will play qualifing round on Sat. morning. Only hesitation is that I was playing project x 5.5's in the TM's and the shafts in the Titleist are DG R300's. Hope it does not make that much of a diffrence but time will tell.

Just joined here and love the site. Hope I am not coming off as a club ho, as the last set of irons i played, i had for about 2 1/2 years. Been saving for this new set for quite some time and was trying to decide between Mizuno MP59 and AP2's got a great deal on them and went with the AP2's will see how they play tomorrow morning.

I too am awaiting the arrival of my new AP2's, they shipped on Monday, hopefully they will be at the course when I get there on Sunday. I went thru a Titleist fitting and was put into the DG XP S300 shaft, the DG S300 shaft had felt a little harsh in its feedback on mishits, the XP not as much.
