Hi Everyone,

I'm new to Oobgolf and joined so that I can track my handicap. After entering 4 scores, 2 using the oobgolf app and 2 using the yourgolf app, the site isn't calculating my handicap despite asking it to calculate a CONGU handicap.

Can anyone help and tell me why this might happen?

The only thing I can think of is that you entered your own handicap and it's over-riding the automatic hcp calculation, but you've indicated that you selected auto-handicap, so I'm not sure. Your scores are entered as standard so it should start calculating after the first post.

The USGA formula requires a minimum of 5 full round scores for a handicap.

I don't know about CONGU (or even what the acronym means).

yes, but this website starts calculating one immediately. just go randomly to the best scores page and look at someone with a high differential posted. like this guy:

It turns out when I spent a bit of time going through each scores, that the new App I have been using uploaded all my scores as practice rounds and therefore weren't being counted as standard scoring rounds.

Now it is calculating my handicap properly (Although there a couple of scores I would like to set to practice
