Anyone play this course? I booked a trip for late spring and am pretty pumped based on what I've been reading. I'm just looking for any thoughts.

From what I have heard all the courses at turning stone are worth the money. They are so up kept that the courses actully lose money as i am told by a former work they get maybe 20 players on a busy day. But considering its cheaper to drive down to bethpage and play there and drive back its hard to find people tha can afford the 150-250 for a round.

I played Atunyote a few years back and it was the most immaculate course I have played (including many courses that are yearly stops on the PGA Tour). However after that the course layout, etc. is just okay. Maybe I was a little dissapointed because it is just so overpriced. My favorite of the Turning Stone Courses is Kaluhyat. I just played that one last week and thought from a golf course architecture and scenery standpoint it is the best of the 3 Turning Stone courses. It is very difficult. (as you can see by my score)

Good timing! I'm actually heading up tomorrow and am playing Atunyote Thursday. I hope it lives up to the hype in terms of condition. Kaluhyat does look very nice as well, but I'm only going to be able to play one course this trip up. If the lodge and atunyote are good, we'll definitely head back up there.

How was Shenandoah?
