Does anyone believe that the magnetic bracelets so many golfers wear help with aches and pains? I have tendonitis and have read from some sites that the Trion-Z bracelets take away some of the aches and pains. Do these things work? I'm just looking to ease some pain in my wrist and elbow. I've seen a doctor and she says... Rest. Yeah like that's going to happen during golf season. Thoughts on the Trion-Z or other magnetic bracelets? The science/skeptic in me wonders.

Hacker,
I have tried the trion-z and FWIW I did not find any releif with this product. Not to say that they dont work for some people, but just not for me. I know people whom swear by them, tried mine for about 6 months and didnt see any difference, but to each his/her own. They are not that expensive (about 20 bucks), so if you want to try them have at it.

Unless you have metal pins in your bones, I just don't understand how this could possibly work.

I wore one for a year or so and it honestly made no appreciable difference.

Maybe not exactly the same thing, but certainly in the same class: [ ]Power Balance Bracelets[].
Don't kid yourself, these things don't do anything except take your money.

Not the same thing but after suffering from bad knees for years I decided to take things into my own hands. I wore a knee brace on each knee that had a patella pocket. I bought 4 industrial strength magnets to put in the pockets hoping to get some relief for my knees. The first night I wore them to bed.I got up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and I couldn't get my knees apart. My wife had to get a crow bar from the garage before I wet myself.
Needless to say I don't believe in magnet therapy.
Just a little joke folks!!!

I have actually worn a magnetic bracelet for many years. I swear by it! It may be psychosomatic but I really don't care. My wrist hurts like hell when I don't wear it and doesn't hurt when I do.

I knew a guy who believed that his copper bracelet relieved his Arthritis. Maybe, one thing for sure though, it gave him a nice green wrist.

Its a placebo. It work on your mind. So, it can work. Get one that is appealing to you. I wear a browning buckmark. It added 10 yards and I shoot a much tighter group since spending the 9.99.

It works as well as your lucky golf shirt, special divot tool, unique warm up routine, or your personalized ball mark!
