The October issue of 'Golf Digest' has an article on page 90 by Hank Haney. He says "I believe you can take the true temperature of any player's game by looking at four stats: total driving, greens in regulation, scrambling and three-putt avoidance. Well, OOB has given us two of these. Are the other two, too much to ask? All the data is there. A good fall project? Please.

i love to celebrate everything on the course. if i hit the fairway, if i hit the green in reg, if i get up and down from the sand, any par or birdie. i'd love to see sand saves, i've been saying it in another thread. lets wish it for christmas.

For those interested, from the above article: Percent Time Three-Putting.

Daniel Chopra - 1.3%
Tour Average - 3.2%
Scratch - 4%
10-Handicapper - 7%
20-Handicapper - 12%

I did a quick calculation using my last 20 rounds - 8.3% - right in line with my handicap. Looks like a good projector of handicap.

Up and down saves (from 50yards and in) and sand saves are very important and should be included in all tracking software packages.
