I am considering buying some new irons this spring and thought I'd see what others though. I really like Mizuno irons and have tested the MX-200, MP-52, MP-62 and MX-67's several times over the last couple months. I'm currently a bad 10 handicap (the worst 10 of last 20 would put me at a lot higher handicap). I do not work the ball much with irons (although I used to before my current GI set). What I am considering doing is purchasing the 5-6 in MX-200, and 7-PW in either 52's or 62's. I know I would have to get the lofts adjusted to correct any gaps greated by the stronger lofts of 200's. I have also considered buying the MP52 is 5-6 and going with 62's or 67's for the 7-PW. One guy at the golf store even suggest taking the 62's for 7-8, then buying 9-PW in 67's.

From what the guy at golf store said, it's easy to mix it up like this with Mizuno and they sometimes sell them just that way. I really like the forgivness of the MX-200's, but love the flight, feel and playability of the other 3 models.

Anyone ever done this or have an opinion? I would be keeping my Mizuno CLK Fli-Hi 2H and 4H.
