Do you like seeing putts per hole or total putts on your oob scorecard?

I would rather look at my scorecard and see that I had 25 putts... or 28 putts... etc.. The 1.8 putts per hole doesn't tell me anything.

The reason it does putts per hole is because some golfers don't track every hole. For example if you only tracked putts on 5 of 18 holes, then the avg would still be more comprable than the total.

I am not saying we shouldn't maybe change it to total, was just explaining the thinking behind it...

all you have to do to get your total putts is to take your putting average and multiply it by 18.
ex. 1.6 X 18= 28.8 putts

you can just multiply the number by 18 for an 18 hole putting score. if you average 2 putts in a round you can multiply 2 by 18 to get 36 (2x18=36)

putts per hole makes more sense especially when oob breaks it down into per hole and per GIR.
