Good work. You know more about your game than most people do. Because you know how far you hit each club you have an advantage over golfers that don't have a clue. As you get stronger these distances will get longer but you should always know how far they go.

This knowledge plus learning "where" to hit the ball on the courses you play will greatly improve your game.

I agree. If you know what you hit at 11 yrs, you're going to become one good player - I'm never going to play you for money thats for sure.

I hit my 8 iron 160 and gauge the rest of my clubs off that... 7 approx 170, 6 approx 180 etc.. I hit 3 iron from the tees in matches to about 220. I drive about 275-300, my longest being 385!! Trouble is, player, these mean nothing unless you're consistent and straight - which I'm neither. No point being a long hitter unless its controlled. I'd take your consistent shorter distances any day of the week.

Good luck.

Ditto to Wiger.....I hit my 8I 150. I am working my game plan to hit my 4I on all par4's 325 or less. Also working on slowing down and working on accuracy instead of distance. Funny thing is it works when I slow it down, but somehow, someway I always manage to speed it up again..practice, practice, practice....
