Hey guys. I have edited Cedar Creek Golf Course in San Antonio several times so it can be picked on my mobile device (iPhone). Every time I update the course name (i.e. add "(SA)" at the end) it works for a few minutes and then reverts back to the original name.

Any ideas on how to keep the name from reverting? There are about 17 Cedar Creek Golf Courses. On a related note, most of the extra courses listed do not have data associated to them.

Other users and administrators are changing the name back as it shouldn't contain location like that. What iphone application are you using that doesn't allow you to see city/state along with the name?

I use Smart Scorecard.

Also, there are several Cedar Creek courses that do not contain any tee data? Can those be deleted? When I search for Cedar Creek, I get 18 results and not all are legitimate.

Which results are not legitimate? I clicked through a couple and they all seemed to be valid.

none of them are duplicates. If you do a search here:
http://www.oobgolf.com/courses/finder/ you will see that they are in unique locations. I am not sure why you are concerned about the amount of data available on courses you don't play, but we did add these courses to the list of those to be added by our team vs through users entering scores.

It may help for you to reach out to the owners/developers of the iPhone app that you are using and suggest that they include city/state on initial listing of search results.

I updated the courses with this name. I did find one that was closed for business, so its 1 shorter on your search.
