How can you not like Ernie Els? He has the smoothest swing in all of golf. His swing looks so effortless, yet he's one of the longest hitters on tour. This guy just conitinues to find his way into the top 4 or 5 best in the world year after year. The Big Easy is the man!

Snyper- while I admire your opinion ( ) you are crazy. When is the last time Ernie Els has done anything? I havn't seen his name on a leaderboard in a couple years.

I hate to follow the crowd on most things, but Tiger is the MAN here. Golf has changed because of him. He is THE reason people tune in.

Screw smooth swing- how about wild and big? With the best short game in the world to boot.

hmmm...last time i checked, Ernie made the cut of this years most recent Major, and.....how did Tiger do??? That's what I thought. Tiger is old news. Ernie plays a lot on the European tour because it's close to his home and his family. He also feels obligated to play on that tour. I can respect that since he is not American. He wins all the time on that tour. So for not playing on the PGA as often these last couple years, he's still in the top 5 every year on the money list and in the world rankings!!! He must be on the leaderboard somewhere!!!

Snyper- I never knew you were such a big fan of the South Africans... What gives?

Didn't Ernie have knee or leg surgury in the past couple years. I seem to remember reading about him taking a couple years off because of his knee.

ernie has a cool first name. i think he should get a caddy who is named bert. his swing is smooth and he look like he is not trying which gives him a "i'm cool" appearance. and to improve on that his nick name is great.
