Is there any way to correct course locators that are shown in the wrong location on the map?
Ex:The Bridge and Atlantic Golf Club, both in Bridgehampton NY, are shown about 2 miles from where they actually are.

Check the address for accuracy.I encountered this problem as well.2 courses were listed on a street with the same name.

in the USA- it's most likely the address being incorrect (though not always).

In a lot of cases, especially internationally it cannot be avoided. oobgolf feeds into mapquest's system and if they put an address in the wrong place there isn't much oob can do about it.

I understand how geocoding works, that is why I don't understand why the 2 examples I cited are so far off, since the addresses are correct. Neither club is located on the road shown in their address.

Is it possible that the mailing address for the course is different than the physical address? I've seen this a few times, especially with family owned courses. The owners will want the mail to go to their home/office, instead of to the course.

I ran into this problem too recently while looking for a course south of Lake Park, MN. The address is correct. In fact, we found the course because the address was correct. It's located on a different spot on all three of the map applications I occasionally use (mapquest, google maps, and yahoo maps). None of them are correct.
