Though this site is used for statistical purposes by most, it also seems to be somewhat of a golfer's social site as well, albeit somewhat limited in that regard. But, since we have so many forums within the site, and reply to each other mostly with friendly and helpful responses, I think it would be nice to know a little more about each other. I'm not saying it should be a mandatory thing, but more of an option for those who want to open up a little about who they are.

Some things that might be of interest are:

Age (or age range for those that don't want to be specific)
Location/Home Course
Frequency of Play
Occupation
And an area to include anything else you might want others to know about you/your game.

Of course all of this info would be optional, as I'm sure there are many who want to stay completely anonymous and are just interested in tracking their game.

Wouldn't anyone else like to know more about some of the characters on this site?

I put my City, State, etc in my profile. I also put my local golf course's website address in my profile. This can all be viewed on my game page by other, but I still do like your ideas to further expand it.
