Quite a nice site - however, ....
Is there an app for the Android (Motorola with V2.1)? Have to buy a new phone - and I'd like this site to keep track of all my bad shots!

I have an Android HTC Hero, I use an App called GolfCard. It's $8 in the marketplace. I love it!

Thanks Zepo1a - I finally had a chance to go through the site and other forum topics - and I found that exact same app - looking forward to downloading it.

Welcome to the site!
I love keeping track of stats. Helps me figure out where I need to practice.
As far as GolfCard, I love it! I use the iPhone version, but from what I hear they are pretty much the same. Having a GPS RangeFinder helps so much when playing.
Again welcome to the site and have fun.

Thanks, I'm looking forward to getting back into golf more seriously. And figuring out shots is going to help a lot.
I've been playing for almost 45 years - but the last 15 have seen less. Perhaps it because I had to switch to left-handed (after golfing right-handed for 30 years) [blown out right knee]. But now that both knees are bad [ripped the left one apart three years ago], it's time to play right-handed again. I went from a 8 handycap right-handed, to a 'why do I even bother counting' left-handed.
I'm going to get a new set of clubs, and go for it this year.
Thanks again for the welcome.

Wow, I have to give you props. First for being an 8 handicap. (I can only dream right now), but also for switching to left hand! That's pretty incredible that you switched to a lefty... and then you're now switching back! Impressive.
Good luck!

Not really very impressive - just determined not to have one of life's pleasures taken away from me. Where there's a will, there's a way! Golf just is!
