This thread is to nominate the most over-hyped players on the PGA:
Adam Scott - everyone talks about how he has the best swing in golf. If I were him I would want to change something because everyone with the bad swings win golf tournaments.
Michelle Wie- at first glance you might ask I thought he said the PGA, but since she can't just play on the LPGA I will include her. I don't care if she is 16 she's more mature than I am. However if playing poorly and missing cuts was a way to make money than she would be on top. +6 at the John Deer the easiest event on tour?? I'm not even saying that she shouldn't play on the men's tour, all I'm saying is wina womens event first.
what do you guys think:

I agree completely. I can't stand all the hype over Michelle Wie. Ok, so you're 16...you look like you're 30! Your body is plenty mature and you've been playing for as long as you could walk. Yet you still are choking like a hog and can't win anything...much less qualify to play with the men. Stay on the women's tour and tryin winning something!!!

It's hard not to like most of the professional golfers, I admire them for having reached that level of proficiency in their chosen craft. Since you asked tho, I'd have to say I don't care very much for "Mrs. Doubtfire"

My wife and I golf alot and like to watch it on TV, especially the LPGA. I was quite disinterested in watching the one tournament when all that the Golf Channel showed was Michelle Wie. She was +8, and she got all the air time. I love watching Paula Creamer and Lorena Ochoa... but they wouldnt show them... What a joke.
On a lighter note.. she still would kick my a$$, but needs to stick to woman's events until she can win one.

I definitely agree with Michelle Wie. She sucks on the women's tour, and she needs to stay there. Better yet, she probably should've played some college golf. Instead of thinking she is all high and mighty and could skip it and skip the LPGA and go straight to the PGA. Michelle, go back to Junior golf.
I also want to add Rory Sabbatini. He needs to just shut up and learn to play some golf. I mean yeah both of these golfers could kill me on the course, but that would be about all they could kill. Except maybe a few ducks in the ponds on the courses.

Speaking of killing.. I am going to kill some beers this weekend after a round or two of golf, and watch my girl Paula finish out.

Phil.
posted +2 in his opening round at the PGA today, yet got more air time than half the leaderboard. (26 guys finished under par today)

Sergio Garcia, don't see him ever winning a major, hasn't lived up to the hype.
