Moving to Knoxville, TN July 2. If you have an open spot in your group, drop me a line, as I know no other players in the area! Would also be interested in some course recommendations!

Welcome to Knoxville! I live and work in Maryville but am in Knoxville a lot.

We have a lot of beautiful courses in East Tennessee and rates are really good right now. Rates dropped last year during the recession and are still very reasonable. I played in Maryville on Monday afternoon (twilight rate) at Royal Oaks for $22 with a cart.

Played Dead Horse last Saturday for $40. We had a good spring with a lot of rain so the courses are in great shape right now.

Get used to hills and woods.

Thanks for the tips! I'll have to look into them. I used to live over on the other side of the mountains near Asheville, but never played golf around Knoxville. I'm looking forward to a few good weeks of play over the summer before I start my new job. Let me know if you ever need a 4th for a round!
