Brand new to Golf, have only played 5 times this season. Which equals 5 times my whole life I am 36 and I am addicted to golf. I enjoy the fact that everytime I have been out I have done better than the last time ( though much imrpovment is needed) Any tips, good courses for a new golfer ( that dont cost a fortune, I am trying to not upset the wife to much with my new Hobby/addiction)

Welcome to the website. I'll be traveling to Detroit Sunday and was asking around about a course to play. I see that the Lum golf course you play is about 50 miles north of Detroit. Have you heard anything about any courses closer to the DET airport? and would you be interested in playing Sunday morning? Thanks
