My name is Dan and I am a high school teacher just outside Annapolis. I used to live on Long Island where for a while I was playing once a week at any course I could get on and afford. The I took a 5 year hiatus where I only played about a dozen times in five years. In that time my slice came back, I have gained and lost 40-60 pounds, and this season changed every club in my bag except my putter. Needless to say, my game is struggling right now, but on the mend. This site rocks and I look forward to hearing many golf stories from you all.

Welcome too oobgolf dsferris. I know how you feel; I feel like changing every club in my bag right now except my putter. I am struggling with just about all clubs, either slicing or pulling; I just cannot seem to hit good solid shots the majority of the time. It's so frustrating. My putting is the only aspect of my game right now in which I have confidence. I started playing in a men's league this year and my scores the first 2 weeks were 37 & 49. Can you believe that? A 12 stroke swing! Frustrating. Sorry to vent on you but once I got rolling with it I just couldn't stop.
