OMG don't do that.

Learn hoe to use the Driver. Practice. With no ball. You can really learn a lot by practicing your stroke with no ball. Try that and see if you are able to image hitting a ball. Your stroke will be just as you practice it whether there is a ball there or not.

P.S. I spelled "hoe" intentionally.

The thing is: I am driving 200 meters with my 3 wood and maybe 215 with my driver. The latter however usually ends up about 20 meters to the right.

To learn the draw I would suggest begins with learning the knockdown shot. The draw as you know carries with it more distance.

My bag has been updated!

Yesterday I went to Dick's to pick up a couple of new camp chairs, and walked out with two camp chairs and two new hybrids. I shouldn't be sent to that place unsupervised!

I picked up the 19* and 22* Nickent 7DX hybrids. They're nice looking clubs, and I really like the feel. I tried them at the range today and was making good contact with them -- much better than my old crappy cheap hybrids which will soon be Craig's List fodder. I did slice both of them, but right now I'm slicing pretty much everything as I get used to the new swing my golf instructor has me doing.

To make room for the two new clubs, I'm dropping my 5W and my old 21* hybrid.

So .. here's my new bag:

DR - Nike SQ Machspeed Str8-Fit (10.5*)
3W - Nike SQ Sumo2
3 Hybrid - Nickent 7DX
4 Hybrid - Nickent 7DX
5 Hybrid - Perfect Club Perfect Accuracy
PW-5i - Adams Tight Lies
SW - Tom Watson brand
GW - Walter Hagen brand
P - Slotline Tungsten SS-381

I'm thinking of dropping the 5 iron for a lob wedge or something. It's a redundant club that I rarely use and don't hit all that well anyhow.

Right on, Steve. The old Nickent HQ is just down the freeway from me. I think their brand was bought out and resurrected by Dick's. I just bought some new irons myself and might get a new hybrid or 5-wood to gap the end of the set with my 3-wood soon. Good luck with those.

I have high hopes for these clubs. I've needed a club with some distance from the fairway for some time. The 7DX line has a larger club head that looks even bigger because it's white. These clubs seem a LOT easier to hit than my old Pro Steel (read: cheapie Chinese-made off brand) hybrids that I got at Golf Galaxy three years ago on clearance for $10 each.
