Not really an idea to improve, but I did have a question about this stat.
Is it the distance of your approach shot to the green, or is it meant to be how far you actually hit your approach shot to the green? If so, then is the approach club correlated with that distance and can that be factored into the club distances report?

It was intended to be distance from the green when you took your approach shot. We are working on an approach shot report that has some similarities to the Club off the Tee report.

Ok, thanks. So will that approach shot report include all data from using the approach shot, distance, and club statistics?

Yes, and approash result (long, short, hit, etc). My goal right now with it is to identify 2 key things:

1) What is your best approach length? If your standing at the tee of a par 4 and can decide where your second shots going to be from, are you more likely to hit the green from 125 or 145 yards.

2) Trends in club selection. For example if you are consitently short from 155 yards, maybe you should be using a 7 iron instead of an 8.

This will be huge once online! I even think that it will be more useful than the "from tee" report, given there usually involves more club variation.

Keep up the good work, and very eager to see the approach report functionality.

I was just curious on how your plans are to set this up.
Are you going to have it broken down into 5 yard increments and show general trends for shots from those distances?
Will it be more geared towards per club usage, and how you end up from certain distances just with that club?
Or whatever other ideas you may have..unless this is all top secret Shocked

On a side note..for approach shot, would it make sense to change 'Long' to 'Over' for ease of entering since L already defaults to Left.
