i wish members could store the course images under the course and not under their profile images. i think it's really nice to have a picture of some part of the course when you click on it.

as far as i know, currently the only way to put a course image up is to upload it under "images" in your profile. the profile images should be only for pictures of the specific golfer and stuff relating to that golfer not for a course.

this is just a minor issue, but after uploading 3-4 course pictures they are cluttering up the images of myself in my profile.

can we have it all and eat our cake and smoke too?

I like that idea. I try to take a picture or two at each course I play, and it would be nice for people looking at the course description to be able to see some part of it.

i think you guys may be saying two different things here.

chip- you are correct that this is a bit cumbersome- and we are going to improve the way this works by adding a picture viewer to the course pages so you can work your course photos from there.

m2d- that should help you in the future too, but it sounds like you have some pictures now of courses that you want to share but don't know what to do with. If you upload those photos to oobgolf through your "my game" page- you can then "attach" them to a course so your pictures will show on the course's page when other users view them.

There are photos in that courses profile from when I added them. Most courses don't have that- but the ability exists for any user to currently upload photos and assign them to courses to show when they are viewed by others.

I think that you should model future image upload features after photo sharing sites like Webshots.com or social sites like facebook and myspace.

it would be nice to have full galleries of images from these golf courses and the poeple who use them. As a plus it would encourage more and more people to access your site more often and possibly open the door to having the golf courses themselves advertise promotions in these "communities"
