My name is Lonnie Gautreau from Gonzales, Louisiana "Jambalaya Capital of the World". Gonzales is 10 miles south of Baton Rouge.
I grew up hunting and fishing. Played football and baseball, had 3 kids and coached them. Always had an interest in golf. Just did not have the time.

Well the kids are grown and I am not mad at them deer anymore. Went played golf with a friend in September and absolutely hooked now. That is all I think about now. Since I was used of getting up early to go hunting, I am usually the first one on the course in the morning. I have been playing twice a week. Will get my 20th game in this weekend.

I am a stats guy so I really like this site.

I used to be a "DEW BUSTER" too. I liked the early games. It's cooler and if you're not the first group out, you can see the breaks in the greens by the ball tracks left by earlier players.
