I searched the forum, but didn't find anyone with a similar issue I am facing. I use the GolfCard iPhone app to track my scores. I usually play 9 hole rounds, but even when I play 18 holes, the differential appears to be doubled. For some reason, the rating doesn't appear to be updating properly.

Date Rating Slope ESC Score Differential
6/15/10 34.3 124 81 42.557
6/11/10 34.3 124 77 38.912

These were directly uploaded from GolfCard. If I edit them in oobgolf, everything resolves itself. I've seen this happen to multiple courses, so i'm not sure really where the issue lies.

As a follow-up, I've double checked the slope and rating for each of the course rounds on GolfCard and they appear to be setup correctly.

I don't have/use a smart phone for uploading scores, so I'm not sure if I should even reply! Nonetheless ...

When I look at your handicap scores, the differentials show up as 11.391 and 7.745 for the two most recent scores; does this mean you've editted them in Oobgolf or has the issue been resolved?

The problem was that scores rating was a 9 hole rating vs an 18 hole rating. I think the issue should now be fixed.

Armand, you are right, I have been editing them. I just stopped to see if the bug is fixed and it doesn't appear so, my latest 3 scores (two 9 hole rounds and one 18-hole round) still exhibit the issue.

Hi Klangdon, unfortunately, it appears that my last few scores are exhibiting the same issue. Also, it's interesting that an 18-hole round on 6/22 isn't showing at all in the handicap calculation.

How were these scores entered into the system? If you click "edit score" for any of the ones in question you should be able to fix them simply by clicking save.

For the 18 hole score not showing up, there is no mens rating/slope on the tee that you selected. Is that the correct tee? Do you know if it does have a mens rating/slope?

They were all uploaded using GolfCard. I have been using the method you mentioned to fix them one at a time.

I will dig deeper into it. Sounds like something is up with the way GolfCard is sending 9 hole scores.
