My new wife and I are planning on a honeymoon down in Southwest Florida. We plan on taking the sticks, and would like to treat ourselves to a course that offers CADDIES.

I have heard that playing with a caddie is one of the best experiences.

Does anyone know where we could get on to play a round as a guest and have caddies???

I know this isn't Florida, but FYI, Puerto Vallarta club de Golf, and Jamaica's White Witch golf club have caddies that I have used. I agree it is convenient to have someone clue you in about where to aim and suggest clubs to use on an unfamiliar course. I was amazed at the stamina of the caddies at White Witch, they ran the entire course on foot and some of the hills were so steep that my cart was struggling.

Thanks for the info... If I hire a caddie though.. I would like to walk along.. that wouldnt be much fun riding along in a cart while he carried my bag... but I will make sure there are not too many hills like up here in PA.

The caddies don't carry the bags, and the players don't walk at the courses I refered to. There probably aren't a handful of people who COULD walk the White Witch..... Hope you have a nice trip, Florida has some great courses and the prices are really good in the summer.

You'll probably be checking some of the more well known resort courses in the area. I don't know any in southwest Florida. I know the Doral in Miami offers caddie services.
