I use the yourgolf app on my phone to keep up with scoring and stats. There is a nice feature in witch you can see your shot locations on a hole map. I don't know if its technically possible, but i would love to see the different rounds i played on one hole beeing displayed on a hole map (in oobgolf).
In that way you would see a map of the hole with different coloured dots (maybe with the date). So you can see how you played the hole in different rounds.

This is an awesome idea. I think that it could be done if they figured out a way to integrate it with Google Maps (similar to the My Tracks App for Android). It essentially allows you to choose a new map or add on to an existing map.

I'm not a programmer, but my theory is that if you have the program create one map for each hole, then just overwrite that map each time and then have a setting that allows the user to clear the map if they wish.

+1 to idea

i think shot charting would be pretty awesome. I use mytracks when i walk a round just to see how far i walk, and the funny paths i have to take (man have I zig zagged some holes)
