this stat would give you your average score over par for initial tee/hole distance. for example:

100-199 - -0.89
200-299 - +1.12
300-399 - +1.23
400-499 - +1.34
500-599 - +1.41
600-> - +2.01

I don't think it would be useful but it would be interesting. You'd have to break it down by par 3, 4, & 5 since some par 4's are longer than other par 5's.
I'd break par 3's into 25 yard intervals and par 4 & 5's by 50 yard intervals.

some people are stronger closer, some are strong mid, and some are better on further holes. i think it would help see where you need to work on as far as what distance.
