I play a Cleveland HiBore XLS 22* ("3 iron") hybrid which I love. Hit it off the tee on par 4 today. Good hit, nice ball flight, the group commented "good ball" etc. But when I got up to it, was way back about 30 yards from normal distance. Normally get about 210-220 from it. Weird, I thought, but kept on. A few holes later hit it from the tee again. Hit it kind of fat, but it only went about 140 yards (into the pond...). Ugly. The next time I pulled it out a few holes later 2nd shot on par 5 I looked and noticed a large crack across the upper side of the face which continued over to the top a bit. It happened today but not sure when exactly. I really like these HiBore clubs and it's a bummer to loose this one. For tomorrow I plan to replace it with a old backup 5W Hibore 19* and try that for a while.
