Last summer, I played exclusively Callaway Warbrids. They are a nice, soft ball, but I found at the end of the year that I started needing more greenside control. I played one round with some ProV's that I found here and there, and my greenside play was absolutely awesome for that round. I just couldn't hit my driver more than 200-210 with the ProV's because my swing speed isn't fast enough.

I'm going to try the Bridgestone E5 and E6 balls to start out the year this year. Even though both balls purportedly have a higher spin than the Warbirds I've been playing, I have a feeling I'm going to like the E5 better because it has a much higher spin rating (about halfway between my Warbirds and a ProV).

Anyone have any experience with these balls?

I've played the E5 and found it had good spin around the greens...the E6, not so much as it's designed for slicers and hookers and doesn't have as much spin.

IMO, the E5 is a cheaper version of the B330RX and B330RXS.

I think you'll like the E5.

I'm hoping your right:)

I'm not much of a slicer...or at least I know what I'm doing wrong when my shots start to slice. Beleive it or not, that was the determining factor when I was trying to decide whether or not to go with a higher spin ball.

But I did a ton of research before deciding to buy a big lot of the E5's recycled. But then I saw the E6's, and I thought, "they must be an updated version". I guess I was wrong. But the E6's still spin more than my Warbirds, so I'm hoping it will at least be a step up from the Warbirds.
