In her day you could easily make an argument that Annika Sorenstam was more dominant than Tiger Woods based on her win percentage. The same can be said for Lorena Ochoa. She's won 2 of her 6 starts in 2009 and finished in the top 10 in four of those six starts.

The two stats that really surprise me are:

a) the fact that her stats are pretty average... 27th in GIR, 115th in driving accuracy, 80th in sand saves and 22nd in putts. Sure, her birdies/eagles/overall score are 3rd or better.

b) her driving average of 271 yds yet she's only 5' 6" tall!

For all her mediocre stats, she consistently scores well. Amazing.

I'm not quite 5' 5" tall and by no means on the same caliber as she is. My driving avg over the last 2 months has been 241. That stat doesn't do anything for me as compared to the other stats you presented.

I like her dimeaner as she plays the necessary stats and plays the basics. She'll lay up rather than try to carry the bunker or the pond is all she needs is 4 on a par 5. She's not like Phil Mickleson who blows a 3 stroke lead on a final hole and decides go driver to show off his long bomber shots that go behind the grandstand.

Coming off retirement to play in a Pro/Am and walking away with 1.28 mil for the weekend is pretty damn impressive as well
